Sweet n Spicy Boiled Eggs

We saw this recipe by jamesyworld and immediately had to try it ourselves. These savory boiled eggs are soooo good over rice and are ready in just 20 minutes!

What You’ll Need:

  • 6 eggs⁣

  • 3 tablespoons butter⁣

  • 4 minced garlic cloves⁣

  • 2 tablespoons gochujang⁣

  • 1 tablespoon chili crisp ⁣

  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup⁣

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce⁣

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil⁣

  • 1/2 teaspoon rice vinegar⁣

  • Rice for serving⁣

  • Toasted seaweed (optional)⁣

Boil your eggs for about six minutes and transfer them to an ice bath to cool. Peel the eggs and set them aside.⁣⁣

In a skillet over medium-low heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic, gochujang, Boon Sauce, maple syrup, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Cook everything until the sauce thickens slightly.⁣⁣

Add your eggs in the pan and use a spoon to glaze the eggs with the sauce.⁣⁣ Serve them over rice, and sprinkle some sesame seeds, green onions, or toasted seaweed to taste. Enjoy! ⁣
